Broken Top Law, LLC provides knowledgeable and straightforward legal representation to individuals and businesses in Central Oregon. Ryan Kaiser founded the firm in 2016 after practicing law for more than a decade at prominent firms in Oregon and Texas. Broken Top Law, LLC combines Ryan's "big firm" training and experience with his mission to provide clients with the focus, flexibility, and attention of a small firm.
Ryan's practice focuses on civil litigation and high-conflict matters, with an emphasis on trust and estate litigation, employment law, and business disputes. Although winning cases for clients is far more important than receiving awards, Ryan was nominated, vetted, and selected as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers in 2015 - 2018 (Oregon) and 2010 - 2012 (Texas), a distinction that is bestowed on less than 2.5% of the attorneys in the state.
Grant joined Broken Top Law in the spring of 2018, shortly after graduating cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. Grant works with Ryan on most cases while developing a civil litigation practice focused on employment law, business disputes, and trust and estate litigation.
Grant is no stranger to hard work and attention to detail. While in law school, he served as lead article editor for the Lewis & Clark Law Review, volunteered his time at a community legal aid clinic, and worked with both the civil and criminal legal teams at the Vancouver City Attorney’s Office.
In addition to practicing law, Grant enjoys climbing at Smith Rock, skiing at Mt. Bachelor, and mountain biking on the trails of Central Oregon.
